Yes, there are many Tai Neua families living in Rockford, Illinois USA.
ReplyDeleteTai Neua first settled in Rockford, Illinois on April 12th 1976 and since expanded to more than 30 families.
Other States that is known to have Tai Neua living are: California, Washington, Connecticut, and Texas.
Actually my father always told me that I have relatives in Thailand, China, Myanmar, and USA. But I did not have a chance to meet all of them. However I am currious to know where they are, how many are there?

ReplyDeleteThere are so many villages of tai Neau people live in Keng Tung .I also live in one of the tai Neua village name Tong Si in Keng tung, Eastern Shan state , Burma . They all are still carrying out tradition , celebrate Tai neaue new year ( Jin Leun Sam ) , making tradition cake suck as rice bal cake (Khao mak khan ) and sesame rice cake ( Khao pook NGA) , family and friends those who live outside hometown still coming back to celebrate New year but this year who live abroad won't be able to come back due to pandemic of covid 19 ,there were lot of activity and competitions too .
